Hi everyone, just to introduce myself, I have only recently discovered the joys of soapmaking, I been a crafter for many years and am also a chef and enjoy creating soap dishes now!!
I have a question that im hoping someone may be able to answer for me, i want to get my soaps safety assesed and certified in order to start selling. I appreciate its going to be a long process and quite costly but can anyone give me a rough idea of how much its going to cost and what sort of time scale?

Many Thanks

Angi

Hi Angie, welcome

The current cost is about £150 and you need to do it now (then carry on practising) as things are going to change.

This assessment plus advice will give you a very wide scope - I'll go check whether you're able to see the board with the relevant info - if not I'll send you a private message.

Hi Angie!

Welcome to the forum.  Being a chef, I can imagine that some of the principles applied to cookery could be applied to soapy/lotiony stuff.

Oh dear though, you have admitted early on that you are a soapaholic.  That's it!  No turning back now  :mwaha:

Hope you enjoy it here  :buttrf:
