Really sorry to hear that your fair was not good.   Embarrassed I haven't ventured out to any fairs for a while now as can feel so disheartened with low sales after spending so much time and attention and love creating goodies but at the same time know that I am not really helping myself by limiting coverage and marketing opportunities.  

Keep thinking about the Christmas run up and fair opportunities but have already cancelled one fairly small event after finding out that the event organiser has agreed for 4 soap makers to be present!!!

Fingers crossed that we all have some positive selling opportunities over the coming months   :buttrf:

Polly, I only sold out of the bargain bin on Saturday, and mostly just to 2 people!! One person bought 1, yes 1, wax melt at 50p! last of the big spenders eh??  :mwaha:

So sorry you had a rubbish weekend. We did ok in the end but we had a very slow weekend and did half the business we had expected. Apparently, according to stall-holders who do my event every year, this is the quietest they've ever seen it. Even one year the whole place flooded and they did better! It seems to have been a universally sucky weekend...
