anyone know what else I would need besides the soaper liability ins. I already have to add wax melts to my product line - is it the same as selling candles, because I've heard that's a bit of a nightmare. I was hoping that without the wick it would be a different/easier case. What category do they fall under? I don't think I would like to sell the melts forever, I just have a lot of supplies for them and would like to use them up.

In the EU, you do need insurance but there's no need for a safety asssessment for them (as they're not used on the skin) so I would imagine that insurance is it - and to label them carefully too.  I don't make them but I'm sure the experts will come in and tell you.

Actually I've quite a few 10ml little bottles of FOs that I'm not going to use, would be a good way of using them up.

That's a great idea, it's hard to find things to do with that amount. Little hostess gifties, teacher gifts, that's what I usually do with supplies I don't have enough of to make a large batch of anything.
