hi thought I'd introduce myself.

I am only just starting out making my own goodies, so i have been reading a lot of your posts with avid interest.
I am only making and experimenting for myself at the moment made a few batches of CP soap and i think I may catch the bug (seems to be going round  Wink). Planning on trying out a few lotions and potions soon so any advice would be great.

Not planing on making it a business or anything quite so grand as I have quite an intensive job at the moment so it is more for relaxation and escapism.

I sure I will be making frequent visits to this rather excellent forum Grin

Hello and welcome in.

There's loads of info on the forum and on the main site (you need to log in there separately from here) and plenty of friendly and experienced people to answer your queries (we've not managed to construct a FAQ).

The more posts you make the more boards will open up for you.

There are also some rather inquisitive bods who will demand pics if you announce that you've made something - so beware!

Sorry I don't have any pics with me, I make soap at my house back in Cheshire but I only get there every other weekend, at the moment I'm in my work digs in London. Sad

At least it means I have plenty of time to decide what I'm making then weekends I get home!

Well, I suppose you'd call me a scientist (environmental) Huh?. I work for a lab that is working on the Olympic site, I try to co-ordiante the work coming in off site, getting results collated and trying to explain a bit of science along the way.

Been doing it for the past year and looks like I have nearly another year down here. It is hard as my OH is back up in Cheshire and we'd only moved into our own place the year before, but we are muddling through.

Sounds a complicated job and I guess the thought of another year is not that brilliant but I am sure it'll just fly by.  Aw.....  Sad   :buttrf:
