I had to bribe him with lunch at Cosmo, an oriential buffet, when we get back from France. Actually, he wanted to come on the second day and see what the stall looked like, then decided to stay for the morning, with dad picking him up at lunchtime, and then decided to stay all day. And he really was a fabulous helper, handing me bags, change, keeping things tidy, it was great to have him around.

I found that working for MiL I noticed that a lot of fellas did help out on the stalls, mostly were a bit older but many, esp on jewellery stalls weren't. Maybe we are finally getting our fellas to show their fem side  :mwaha:

He has been absolutely wonderful, staying up with me til gone midnight all last week, to help me with the designs and the printing and all that, I wouldn't have been anywhere near ready without his help. I am so proud of him.

What about Hubby? Is he any good?
John can't wait to get away from things like this!
Still won't use my soap  Huh? But if I buy a soap from somewhere else, he can't get enough of it. What's that all about?

Hi LLL,

this is what legends are made of WooHoo!. oohhh packaging can be a nightmare & if u managed to do this in a short space of time (labels & all) i hope u r really pleased with yourself. if you r like me fear mixed with perfectionism clouds my judgement & i am often my owm worst enemy..it makes me think that what i'm doing is not good enough.  i so glad u did well & it vaid dated all the effort u put in.  i'm hoping my daughter turns out to be helpful like your son thats really special,

bye danielle

Hope you are proud of yourself LLL! Just seen the pics and Ive got the goosebumps!! Thats just the sort of fair Id like to be a customer at. Re blokes, when i made my one and only attempt at a fair, my partner looked after my soaps while i went to the loo. When I got back he was disgruntled as a lady had marched up and said it was weird a man selling soap. Charming-I mean men wash too dont they??  Huh?
