Hello and welcome Sarah.  Starting out really is an exciting time isn't it. Since I'm on the wrong side of the pond I can't help out with packaging suppliers although it has been discussed before.  I'm sure someone will come by who can be of more assistance.

Cheers

Thanks Lindy, yep certainly is exciting. Been making lotions and potions for friends and family for nearly 2yrs now and have finally taken their advice to start a business.
Its a mine field out there with safety certs etc.
Am now doing research to establish a brand that best suits and describes me and my products.   so a bit more work ahead of me until im ready to go, but I cant wait.
Also doing an aromatherapy course too, alongside my day job and family.
good to know you are all out there with help and advice. so I think I will be on this forum quite a lot from now on!

Sarah I love making lotions & potions.  Good on you for taking the aromatherapy course, you will find that information invaluable when formulating.  I have my clinical aromatherapy and more than anything else I learned how much I don't know.... :mwaha:

Welcome!
Exciting times so don't be disheartened when you find out how such a nightmare packaging can be!...
And labels, did I hear labels?!  ;-)

Fiona's boxes are gorgeous and fast delivered.

Hi there Sarah! A very warm welcome to you - you will love it here. Now you see we love pictures here - we love them very very much!  Grin Just to let you know.

Fiona's boxes are just totally beautiful. For lotions well I use GF's airless pump bottles. I did originally want glass jars etc but as it is hydrous product the SA states that an airless pump is used.

You will very much like it here - never be afraid to ask a question etc - we have all been new, we have all been scared.  Wink

Welcome!

For plastic and glass containers (not boxes) you should check out Dormex.  Their website is horrible and you can't order directly off of it, but they are wonderful about sending free samples before ordering they respond promptly to emails.  And their prices are 1/3 of anywhere else for most things.

Dormex never returned my call or email, but others here speak very highly of them!  I am supplier challenged...

Welcome Saraharte, you've come to the right place Smiley
