I logged on, went away, came back and my world had turned green!  I though I was hallucinating.  I am not sure whether I like it or not yet, but then I am not really a fan of green.

I've given it a while but way too much green (and it is my fav colour)
The layout I'm sure I could get used to.
Was there a reason to go green  :mwaha:
One good thing I've noticed is that the buttons above the smilies now tell you what they are for! I had no idea about most of them.
Off to try changing colour.....

I love it!! It was totally unexpected for me as I hadn't seen this post before.  Yipee!

I don't know if it is my screen (as it tends to be quite bright and have a bluish tinge) but I think the colour is great. Tell Kes he has a fan (and I don't particularly like green either but I love the changes)  :mwaha: I think it is great that people who can't cope with it can change the theme as well, good thinking! Wink

Helen, the site looks lovely.   Thanks to you and to Kes for all of the work you do to provide this site for us to use and enjoy.  It's a wonderful forum and a fabulous resource, and I feel lucky to be able to participate here.

Kes and I were a bit perplexed about the negativity so Kes said that most of you are probably using a PC and the new look is fine on a laptop (once you've spent some time in it) so Kes thought we should look at it on the PC.  It looks very different on there.  Oh well....  Kes is going to change it back to what it was  Sad  Sorry to all that did like it

I seriously think that if you like it Helen you should keep it! It is your forum and you shouldn't feel bullied or the need to apologize for making changes on your forum. I think some of the comments are a bit over the top especially as you said people could change it in their profiles so I can't see what the problem is and I hope you are ok.  big hug

No worries Sharon, its absolutely fine.  In fact when we looked on the PC, it was VERY different to what we could see on the laptop.  I don't feel bullied at all  Smiley  This has always been member-led and I invite criticism as it is this that fuels development.  So no worries and thank you all for your honest opinions  big hug  We'll continue to work on this (just as soon as Kes recovers from spending hours doing that one.  Well, it keeps him out of trouble  :mwaha:)
