HI Everyone

I am Ivalee, I am new to soap making and the forum. I make jewellery and have my own website, I did a course with Melinda Coss some months ago. MY plan is to make and sell my soap along with my jewellery on my site. I am hoping to learn lots here and make some new friends.

Hello Ivalee, welcome to the forum.

You'll find a number of experienced soapmakers (various methods) with a lot of accumulated very varied knowledge so feel free to ask questions If you can't find a topic with the info you're looking for.

(watch out for people demanding pics of soaps you've made)

I make jewelry for friends, family and myself. I cannot stay away from beads. They're in my dreams. So, yes, we will need pictures. Welcome! This is the best place full of wonderful people!

Thank you all  for the lovely welcome.

Melinda I did make some soap that I did on the course, we've just start using it, My kids loved it also I just bought some ingredients this week to work though your book.
I've been watching lots of video on YouTube and would like to have a go with M&P as it seems easy but I am not sure which base to used, any advice.

What?  You planning on working right through the book   :mwaha:
Not really all that up with M&P bases I'm afraid but I'm sure there is someone on the forum will be able to help you though ! Have a Scout around the topics

Hi Ivalee - Enjoy yourself here - It is great fun. You are very welcome. There are plenty of really good M&P members here - Have a look through the Soapy Show Off section and you will see a good few of the wonderful soaps that are made. Pemberly most recently posted pics of her latest M&P pics. Have a wee look in there - any questions then just ask.  Kiss :buttrf:
