Hello I am new to the forum. Have submitted a recipe and a query but have not introduced myself properly.
Hope I am in the right place.
I have been married for 28 years and have 2 grown up children a grand daughter who is 8 going on 18 She has lived with me since she was 6 mths old as my daughter had a car accident & was unable to care for her.
I have been a child minder for 26 years and have been making creams, soap etc for family for quite some while, but have now decided it is time for a change of life as I am going through the change of life (hot flushes the lot) so am going to have a bash at selling them to all those people that have pestered me for freebies.
I keep 13 chickens(& am known locally as The chicken lady) and they are the love of my life after my family. . My neighbors laugh at me when I go up with their tea (marmite on toast, but it gives them the extra Vitamin B).
So you can see what sort of person I am.
I love to make bread and love to do gardening, but the chickens have dug up most of my plants now.
I am just in the process of contacting David with regard to assessments. He is so helpful.
Must go now and do some tea for the kids & chickens.
Luv to read about all your antics, glad I am not alone out here.

Hi Chicken Lady, I can't call you that  Undecided whats your real name??
With all the new people coming on the site I feel like an oldie even though I've only been here since Christmas I think.

Hi! Chicken Lady, think you'll get Kim more often, easier to type.
Your chucks must be really spoilt. Hope they reward you well with eggs!
There are a few people here at the same stage as yourself, preparing for certs, myself included. Its always good to hear others opinions and advice.
Hope you have a lot of fun along the way.
(watch out for Joy and JoJo, they are ever so slightly BONKERS)
