Oh, I'm so pleased you did well! Marvellous news!

I like your table, not too much at all. But I agree, some kind of height at the back (upside down shoe boxes under a table cloth will be fine!)

onwards and upwards!  :buttrf:

What a fine, fine collection.  I was just ooh'ing and ahh'ing over the pics like I was there  :mwaha:  Really well done, good for you.  What a great experience for you and it looks like you have already started to plan how the next one will go.  Well done  :buttrf:

Excellent! Well done you! I've experienced a couple of small events when we did lots of cheeses - so unpredictable - and outside! Soap indoors sounds so much more logical than cheese outside!

Did you get any weirdos?

Tell us more! News

It's not that exciting actually.  A lady came to the stall and siad "Hello, I'm your chief lurker!" and went on to explain that she had been following my blog for ages and looking at my knitting projects on Ravelry (a kind of facebook for knitters website), and she said some lovely things about my knitting and my soaps etc.  Then she said that she had been somewhere that I had talked about on my blog and while she was there had mentioned to someone that a "very good friend" of hers had been there, meaning me!  She did then explain to the person that she'd never actually met me!  :mwaha:

She said "I hope you don't think I'm some crazy stalker" and had a fit of giggles!

She was actually really lovely and I did kind of know of her because she had enquired once about the knitting group that I run.

And she bought 3 bars of soap!!

Aw sounds like it all went really well. Congratulations! The stalker sounds lovely and at least they actually wanted you. I had a bit of a debate with a lady the other day who insisted that a friend of hers bought a blueberry lip balm from me and loved it so she'd sought me out. She wouldn't have it that it wasn't me!  :mwaha:

I own up - I'm a lurker - on soap sites anyway!!

Just had to mention that I was lurking about on here and looking at the photos of your lovely soaps and display when I saw the wooden mould in the background -  it's my hubby who makes and sells them!  After they've been tested by me of course!

We are working on a display unit which may give you the height you're looking for, keep an eye on the website.

Congratulations on your first fair hope you have many more successful ones.

Congratulations!  Your table looks great and your soaps look beautiful!  I'm glad it turned out to be a good event for you.  How nice that someone came just for you...that is wonderful.  She will probably become one of your regulars Smiley.
