I have been saving my used melts and been thinking what I could do with them. Yesterday I figured I try make a candle from them. Have never made wax candles in my life but gave it a try.
Had an old glass, melted old melts, scented, pored and so on according to the procedure. Today I lit it and it actually works!  Happy Bounce

It's not even close to pretty but functional.  Roll Eyes
The glass had a rounded bottom which I didn't see until I got the candle out so I placed some foil under to stabilize it.  Smiley

I like that! Doesn't matter if it's pretty or not(IMO), it does what it was made to do.

Very resourcefull Eva :buttrf:

At least I'll have lots of candles for the winter.  Grin

Scented with lemon grass and rosemary. Can't smell any of it yet. It may have been "killed" by the leftover scents in the old melts or I put too little in there, it's only about 3%. I don't know how that works, I mean if some FOs can kill EOs?

Oh, and I made the wick of cotton string, twisted 4 fold.

Eav thats resourceful. One question though is it pilar wax or container? If its container putt it back in the glass before you burn it anymore.

Dont want you haviong a fragrant puddle on the coffee table

@Michelle, pillar wax.
Good that you asked because one never knows when fumbling around getting ideas and such.  :mwaha:

The scent has been thrown around for some time now. Could have been stronger but it's good enough.
