Hope someone can help me here?
I have made about 40 little glass jar container candles using ecosoy container blend.

A day or so after pouring, little cracks appear on the top radiating out from the wick. Am I pouring too hot then?

If you poured staight after melting the was, yes the ripples and cracks are cos it was too hot. I try to wait til the wax is about 100 degrees or lower before I pour and it it lovely and smooth. I use the cool down time to do other stuff cos it's a PITA to stir it for ages. HTH

thanks Polly! I do wait a while, and I stir the FO in for ages, to make sure it is mixed.  I'll wait longer next time, in the meantime, I'm using the hairdryer to remelt the top and fill in the cracks!
