I got an email from these people too. Again, too far for me to go but hopefully someone may find it useful

Many thanks for the posting.  Unfortunately it clashes with another big event in Essex that weekend which I have already put an application in for - what a shame these event organisers couldn't have co-ordinated a wee bit better as otherwise events in Essex are a bit on the thin side at the moment!!

Thanks Elaine for this.  Could I ask where you find out about these events please?

Many thanks

I know about the Barleylands one 'cos it has Steam Engines and Tractors and we've taken a later holiday twice in order to visit (really good day out).

Otherwise just put craft fair organiser into google etc. with UK flagged and you'll get loads of sites - it's just a matter of bookmarking the ones you want to keep an eye on.

Additionally we always holiday in the UK and if we see a sign for a Craft Fair we go and have a look.

I also keep an eye on a craft forum or two - various events are mentioned there.

You could always try leafing through a craft mag in Smiths or elsewhere.
