Ohhh !!! thank you for your warm welcome.
Ok .. I promise to not speak about beach, sea, and coconut tree... humm until summer  :mwaha:
I make home made products for almost one year, for myself, my family and my friends for now.
I'm an energetic practician, I mean I work in reflexology, relaxant massage, reiki, etc.. and I use essential oils for several years.
Since I use my own products, I really feel better. And over all ... I'm very proud.. like a child sometimes  :mwaha:
I made yet creams, body milk, those incredible light butter (specially my "after eight" one which makes me crazy !!!!), deodorant, cream to wash the teeth
(I do not remember the name in english), a serum for my complicated hair, an anti mosquitos-cream and her lotion, some extracts, well I let my imagination fly.
I discover we have many flowers and smells here, I'm trying to make my own items.
I read a lot the experiences of others, to try to not make big mistakes.
I do not have many experience in home made, but if I can help it would be with pleasure.
today I was at my parents home, and I stole some rose hips and petals   Grin in the garden... I will try to do something with water and glycerine.

Welll I would be able to talk and talk... but it is late and I have to go to bed. Tommorrow at 5 am it will be the australian tennis woman finale, and I hope I will be able to wake up on time !

See you soon and again many thanks !

Oh... beaches, sea and coconut trees.... bliss... some people here have snow on the ground again today! Maybe it's good to hear about sun and lovely long warm days - or maybe not  :mwaha:

Cream for the teeth is toothpaste ... not heard of people making their own before though.

Bambi, they all sound wonderful, especially the after eight. Let us know how you get on with the rosehips that you acquired. :mwaha: We nnneeeeeedddddd pics!

Honey, tooth soap has been around for some years now. Doubt it could be done under EU regs as it's classed as inside the body, but I could be wrong.

I tried it and it is surprisingly good. Gets rid of most of the tartar build-up and stops my gums from bleeding. You need to use well cured soap though that hasn't been fragranced with FOs (they taste nasty). I have some soap which is about a year old and has been unfragranced and it works great. This soap is so mild it barely stings the eyes nowadays and tastes kind of sweet. Fresh soap tastes sharp and soapy.

Hi Helen,
Thank you ! and Amy for your kind words on my book.
I followed your advice in a new cream, and it is perfect !
I received this morning some cosmetic items and I could resist... I used silk extract, green tea and other things, and I used also my first rose extract.
I'm very proud ! It's green, because I used the leaves and the wood. But it smells good. I add a picture
I really have great fun you know.  :buttrf:

I'm awaiting to receive my jasmin wax.

The "after eight" cream is just a whipping cream made with light cocoa butter + shea butter + macerated oil I made with plant from here which smells mint lightely + some micro pieces of dark cocoa butter + some mint EO
I do not have pictures but I will do next time. It looks like a white cream with some pepites of cocoa and a divine mint mixed smell  :mwaha:
Due  to the heat, I put the cream on fridge, and when i use it, it is fresh ! It seems to be good for blood circulation , due to the oil which have many properties. Plectrantus-amboinicus is its scientific name. Surely you know it ?

Hi bambi!
Gosh you do sound knowledgeable! There's lots of expertise here... and the occasional newbie picking their brains (like me  :mwaha:)
Love the sound of your after 8 cream, is the cocoa butter the chocolate side?
