Hi I am Corrie, I live in a small village in the west of scotland, near Loch Lomond. I make CP soaps and sometimes some MP when I need a quick fix  Smiley
Love the variety and scope that CP and its ingredients can bring and always trying something new. At the moment I am experimenting with ultramarines (with mixed results).
Look forward to talking to you all Cheesy

HP Soap is NOT rough and soft!

Hello Corrie,

I think everybody's retired for the night.

There does seem to be a lot of soapmakers in Scotland - I haven't yet worked out why.

There's a great deal of information here = in the forum (although it's not been going for very long) and in the resources.

I make MP and various concoctions for chucking in the bath; others make a wide variety of soaps, lotions, potions and other goodies for humans and animals.

Enjoy yourself here!

Hello Corrie!

How lovely to have you here.  It sound's lovely where you live.  Its great that you do a bit of both (M&P and CP).  There does seem to be lots of scope with CP but it also amazes me what can be done with M&P.  Have you had a peep at the Member's Galleries?  It leave's me very humbled indeed, lol.

Please make yourself at home and if you have any ideas that will make the site more tailored to your needs, do give me a shout and I promise I will do my best to accomodate  Smiley

There's such a mixed variety of people/experience here who all bring something special to the forum and indeed the site itself (in Community).

A very warm welcome to the forum Corrie!!   Grin

Thanks for the welcomes so far, you all seem like a friendly bunch.
Elaine I wonder if the reason there are so many soapers in scotland is something to do with our climate and our like of conserving money?

Imagine the scene...."Mum is the soap hot yet? I'm cold!" "Yes Jimmy, come and warm your hands on this batch of lavender, its lovely and toasty"

Before I am shot down for mocking the Scots and their ways...I am one, and its just a joke!

Hello Corrie,

Welcome, you've found a nice place to hang out Smiley

Do you make Loch Ness Monster soaps by any chance?  :mwaha:

It's great to know that there are so many people out there making lovely products with nice ingredients.

As much as I would love to take the credit, it was good old kestrel (although now, things seem a little busier in the space above the message box lol)

And so a round of applause to Kestrel!!! Joy! WooHoo! Yipee!

suggestion...I don't know if it would work on this forum but maybe a "more button" could be used to call up other emoticons so it doesn't get too crowded?

I thought this.  I think when (if) more are added or if members agree that its a bit crowed, then the more button would have to be an option  Smiley
