HP Soap is NOT rough and soft!

« Reply #3 on: June 20, 2009, 05:09:15 PM »

Hello Raven, Welcome.

Lots of soapy lotiony potiony info here and plenty of people who know all sorts of things about body products.

There isn't a FAQ (we're thinking about one - have been for a while!) so you won't get shot down if you ask a question that's alreasy been asked a few times.

Hi Raven,

Welcome to the forum!!  It is lovely to have you here.  It sounds like things have been a bit rough for you but you do sound rather positive.  Feel free to join or start discussions on the boards.  I would think though you may need some time to read and absorb some of the discussions already taken place.  Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you more around the forum  Smiley

Welcome Raven - sorry to hear you've been through rough times, depression is so debilitating.  As long as you keep looking around the corner, you're going to do ok.

I also make M&P soaps ... we love pics here too if you have any (or have them as you make more and more).  And you so will have a house full of soap - you'll be the cleanest person you know  :mwaha:

Hello raven and welcome.
As I mentioned in another new member post - I'm only a few hours "older" than you in this place. It's a great place!

Sorry to hear about your depressions, I can really say "I've been there". 15 years ago and severe, had it for about 6 years but am now all rid of it. One thing that helped me a bit and that I repeated to myself over and over: "It is not your fault that you are down and depressed. You are perfect the way you are."

Love & hugs helps too (between the dark periods) so here is one for you -  big hug

Raven, I'd start with the M&P soap, it's the most accessible.  And don't worry about making mistakes, everyone does ... best thing about M&P is that you can re-melt and making something different instead so, in a way, there's never a mistake!!! Oh and, sometimes, the "mistakes" are the very things that make you think Wow!!

Hi Raven I love making bath bombs and I did have a few disasters at first but they are not as hard as they seem, have just made some lavender fragrance ones some with glitter in and some plain, good luck with whatever you try first, but beware it is a hobby that can take over hours of your time, but is very enjoyable, and I find family love to try out new experiments even my little grand daughter of 4 loves the tiny bath bombs I make with the last bits in the bowl

Hi raven and welcome. You are going to love it here, I am sure. b&b is so much fun and sometimes the 'disasters' turn out to be surprising successes or at least great lessons Wink
Ask away, that is what we are here for and also join in the silly banter the others are known for  :mwaha:

Meant to say, I love ravens, they are my favourite bird. One time I saw ten or 12 together, quite unusual and it was just magical!
