A warm hello to everyone,
I love making  M&P soaps, b&b products, bath bombs, melts etc.   I have just made a batch of Chamomile CP soap, haven't made CP for 5 years, but I must admit that it is my fave...  Cheesy

I live in Yorkshire, I'm wife to 1, (we have just gone past our 33rd anniversary), mother to 1 grown-up daughter, alpha dog to a shih tzu... :mwaha:  And to relax, I love to take the pooch for a long long walk where no one can reach me!

I hate answering phones and would love an answerphone that works.  I love to make friends from all around the world, and hopefully I will make lots of friends here...  have a great day    Bev

Thank you for such a warm welcome,
I will put some piccis up when I can figure out how to upload them.
I have to make 2 strawberrry loaves for a wholesale customer, she is leaving the design up to me so I'll have to try some experiments today.

Also, a customer wants me to make her a shampoo bar out off M&P base, I'm just wondering whether to add some castor oil too it as she has very dry hair.
Would love some feedback on this... :buttrf:

Hi Bev,

I am not the most experienced with M&P (but have played a bit with it) and I attempted a cream shampoo and conditioner (the recipe is on the 'Hair' board) using M&P as a base for that.  I have to admit that I wasn't very impressed with the way it left my hair so instead, developed the recipe slightly to make a cream body wash (which was brill).  I don't know whether anyone else has had experience with M&P as a shampoo though  Smiley

Never made anything specifically for hair ... hubby does wash his hair with the soap I made (M&P) and he said it can be hard to wash out, his fingers get stuck in his hair and he can't just wash it out smoothly like you do with regular shampoo.  I suggested conditioner afterwards but he hates it.. he uses some serum in his hair and that sorts it out ... he finds that it makes his hair fuller (which doesn't bother him at all as he's gone a teeny bit thinner and so is happy with it!).

Just realised I haven't said "Hello" (I was on hols when you arrived) so a belated welcome.

I'm an ex-pat Tyke (mmm- possibly not a tyke as I'm from E.Yorks).
