Ive got an excess of heat shrink wrap. Its brand new and will be cut fresh off the roll and as I use i to wrap my soaps and wax melts I didnt know if you guys would find it useful. You have to careful using it with wax melts though as to hot and you wil start melting but to be honest I havent had any problems so far. Ill let you know how it goes on Fizzing bath melts and bat bombs.

5 metres of 250/500mm Polyolefin clear centre folded shrink wrap - Food grade, suitable for shrink wrapping your producrs giving a professional protective finish. Im looking for £4 for 5 metres.plus p&p

For anybody who hasnt used it before here are some instructions I wrote out

But is it hard to use? No its really easy and you dont need any complicated tools, just a hairdryer with heat settings, pair of scissors and some clear sticky tape. If you can wrap a present you can use this with ease.
1. Unfold your wrap from the centre fold
2. Place your item face down on the wrap , cut the wrap to the size needed to wrap it.
3. Start wrapping, keeping the folds on the side, facing you.
4. Secure the folds onto wrap with clear sticky tape
5. Using hairdryer on low to medium setting, gently play it all over your item starting on the top face working all round. You will see the wrap shrinking round before your eyes protecting it and giving a professional finish.
6. Put your label on the back face concealing the clear tape.
Told you it was easy

That's interesting - polyolefin is biodegradable or summat isn't it - more like the true cellophane rather than the acetate film which is used for most bags and wraps (but still called cellophane).

My understanding is that you are right Elaine, however I was advised it can take up to 5 years so as most of our 'cosmetic ' products have a max life of 2 years I chose that.
Apparently they degrade like paper or wood on a compost type environment.

Gor Im a dil brain I jusr rechecked my meterage on the roll and its more than I thought!! Therefore for Freshol members will be £3 for 5 metres or £5 for 10 metres, plus postage which is at cost so may just be price of first class stamp.

This doesnt bode well for my costings of products when I start selling. Remind me not to use the solar powered calculator next time!!!
