Ive looked and looked and looked. I absolutely adore the egbhouse moulds but oh my golly gosh they are expensive especially when you add on postage and I suspect customs duty.
Does anyone know of any uk based supplier of such intricate type moulds.
I would'nt normally ask as I think one should try yourself first but I have spent hrs possibly days now, trawling and I just know that someone on here could point me in the right direction. :buttrf:

As far as I know there are no UK suppliers of moulds like this.

I have a few nice silicone moulds that are cookware but not specifically soap moulds.

I know what you mean about months of trawling. I have a chinese girl living with me at the mo and I showed her the moulds and asked if she has seen any like this back home lol. Talk about getting desperate!!
When you start making yours dont forget to give me a shout.
Ive got some silicone  bakery moulds. TK Maxx have some good logs and jelly moulds in at the moment so I whistled goodbye to £30 last week there. They are quite solid not all floppy like the certain high street supermarket where you get points. I have a feeling those wil lose their shape after a while.

Thanks ladies for trying to help.

Mind you Michelle the Ebhouse moulds seem to last and last-I have made hearts almost daily for about 6mths with one of mine and its still perfect. It was about £21 plus P and P at the time, but its been worth while really. If we can get to make them it will be cool, my sisters OH used to design and make moulds for a living and is a very handy designer so Im hoping to make good use of his skills

Don't forget that there's a tutorial on making silicone moulds in Resources. (you may need to log in to the main site)

I've used plastic food containers to make moulds in - you need strong fingers to take the mould out.

Tiranti's stock food grade silicone.

You can see why silicone moulds aren't cheap.

Kes bought me a couple of moulds - Anthony Warrel Thompson moulds.  The loaf one was about £5.00 and a muffin-type mould (6 large circles) for £7.00.  Do you reckon he thinks I might make soap with them??  Maybe he thinks I may actually use them for food  Shocked  Or maybe....  he's planning his own soaps  Popcorn

Anyway, they are pretty basic shapes but really good quality and I don't think they were that expensive really.  I think they were from Tescos.

Thank you for al your responses. Ive got some nice basic shapes for logs and cakes, but I wanted to do some m&p that just looked so different to most on the market. Those moulds seemed to fit the bill.
But I  am waiting with bated breath to see what Sue comes up with, never know I may be her first customer :mwaha:
