Hi, my name is Jan, I'm a very new soap maker.

I hate doing these introductions (you'd never credit that I actually run my own board somewhere else).  Historically I read a lot but don't post very much unless I've actually got a question - but I expect to have a lot of questions here!

I'm looking forward to getting to know this forum, and all of you, a lot better,

Blessings,

Jan

Hello Jan, welcome.

Ask away - someone will have the answer, there's a load of info in resources as well as past topics.

Trouble is that after the question's been answered the quality of the posts deteriorates.

EJ means that some peeps like a bit of a giggle, so expect the unexpected Jan  :mwaha:

Hello and welcome and thank you for introducing yourself, it is lovely to hear from new members in the intros.

There a plenty of members who introduced themselves as being new to soaping and it is amazing how quickly they go from asking questions to answering questions based on their experience.

Anyway, we look forward to chatting with you around the boards  :buttrf:

Welcome Jan, hopefully you will learn a fair bit in here, even if it is that a few members are totally nuts.

Thank you all for the very warm welcome.  I've been reading a lot of the back info since I joined, so don't think I've just joined and forgotten about you.  I've also been busy getting ready for and attending the Battle of Camlann at Tintagel in Cornwall.  That piece of annual mayhem is now over, so I can concentrate on more domestic stuff - like soap!

Elaine, I know what you mean - I've seen some posts on other boards get so far off-topic that they've come round and back to the start again!

We now have a Naughty Corner so that a thread can be split off and the OT stuff carried on in the corner!

(makes it easier for people checking back for some info)
