Hello Everyone!

My name is Cathy and I have been making soap since 1998. I am a soap addict of course and can't seem to get enough...of my own or anybody elses for that matter. I tend to drag my family to every craft show I can find just so I can look, smell and buy soap. How clean can any one person be? I have enough to make sure nobody stays dirty....ever!!!

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and participating in the discussions.

Hello Cathy, welcome to the Forum!

Lots of soap addicts here so you're not alone - if you follow some topics through to the final pages you'll find that they can become quite mad - don't be put off though.

I've just had a quick look at your website - some really interesting soaps and valuable information - take alook everyone!!

If you're interested in other crafts there's a a couple of boards to show off and discuss.

My Grandad went out to Canada (Dawson) during the later goldrush but didn't make his fortune I'm afraid!

My family is from England. My mother was born there before they immigrated when she was 9. My grandparents who are in their late 80's still speak with an accent that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. My only visit was when I was 4 years old (36 years ago) Sad and I would love to go again.

My mother lived in Heaton Mersey, near Stockport when they left England. I actually had to look that up in my Grandfathers memoirs. Embarrassed

Hi Cathy and welcome!   Hi!

I was first inspired to make soap after a lil' trip to Canada so can understand your addiction! Your soaps look lovely - have tried some of those techniques before but they never came out as beautifully as yours!!  Hope you enjoy it here.

Hi Cathy

Welcome and enjoy it here.  Your soaps look lovely.
We do tend to get a bit carried away sometimes and go way off topic but it's all for a giggle.  Cheesy

welcome to the mad house. Serious discussions do sometimes take place but if you're game for some silliness and a serious discussion in that order you'll do just fine.

Nice site as well.
