I've been making soap for about a year and now starting my own business making natural soaps using botanicals from my garden. It has felt like a pretty lonely journey having no one to talk to with expertise in this area. It feels wonderful to have found the forum and look forward to reading and taking part in the debates.

Hi Vicki,

A very warm welcome.  It's lovely to have you here.  Sounds like things are going very nicely for you, regarding your business.   There are some lovely people here, all with different levels of experience.  Some of us don't make soap but have an interest in other skin care products, some though are highly experienced at soaping.  Some do it as a hobby and others run businesses.  So there's a nice mix, which is great when you want to bounce ideas around.  I hope you enjoy it here  Smiley :buttrf: :buttrf:

hello from me. I'm one of the ones that make soaps, I started of with initial interest in liquid soaps. I also make solid soaps, but I count myself as relative novice in most things.
