Hello All

Thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm trying to get started selling my own products (on a very tiny scale at first) and am really struggling to make it cost-effective, especially where safety assessments are concerned. Which folders should I use to hound people to death with annoying questions? Or preferably look back through old threads where they've probably already been covered...

Thanks

hi there and welcome. Many of us are in the same boat. I've just started out selling myself and I was overwhelmed by all the regs. It means a lot of overhead (in your time and energy) in doing very small quantities, but you get into the swing of it and means scaling up isn't usually so difficult.

Just ask away. Friendly folk always willing to help here  Hi!

Hello and welcome to the forum.  I think many are feeling a bit lost at the moment, even those that have been trading for quite some time, since the new regs have come in.  You are not alone  :buttrf: :buttrf:

Hello Olivia,welcome to the forum.

Get yourself up to junior level (50) posts and you'll see a few more boards, including "Legal".

In the meantime ask questions if you're not clear about something, if you can't think which board use General and Lindy or I will move it if appropriate.

By all means try a search and trawl through topics if you have plenty of time (the forum has covered lots of ground since it started) - but the early Safety Assessment ones won't be relevant now.

Hello and welcome! Grin

I've just sorted out all my legal stuff and just finished my product information files for my launch products, just 8 soaps, 3 body butters, 3 lip balms and bath melts to start.  When I first looked into it all my mind was boggled and I didn't think I would ever get the hang of it, but now it seems so much easier.

I couldn't have done it without this forum it's been the best help!  Smiley  :buttrf: :buttrf:
