Hi, everybody,

My name's Timy, I'm a Hungarian soap maker living partly in Middle East, Jordan. I love camel milk soaps!:) I love the handmade bedouin goat butter- wow, what a great soap I've made of it! I love desertic plants and healing herbs! I love cardamom tea and cardamom soaps... I make soaps from almost everything and I'm happy to find other soapers from all around the world to share this adventure...  Grin

Hello and welcome!
We had lots of milk soaps before, but camel is a new one! What does it taste like? Is it very creamy?

Hello and welcome. Cardamom is up there with my favourite spices ( in cooking, I haven't tried it in soaps yet).

Hello again,

No, camel milk is not really creamy, it has almost a salty taste because of the high mineral and vitamin content. It behaves very well in soaps because it doesn't burn easily (contains just a little sugar). Just great, I use it 100% instead of the water. Unfortunatelly I can't get a lot- bedouin people drink it all!:) But you can get many other exotic ingredients here, like cardamom oil, black seed oil (called holy oil here), black myrrh, unfiltered olive oil from our own trees and so on. Great place to try new things in soap making!

Welcome to the forum. Has anyone mentioned that we insist on photographs?

Kabir Salamwalakum, marhaba!!! Hi Timy I live part of the time in Morocco where I too am able to get those exotic spices etc.Its difficult to get Camel milk though for the reasons you said and also because its quite expensive, must try though as it sounds wonderful for soap.
