Hello everyone!

I am currently experimenting with making my own skin care creams, this all started with my teenage daughters acne getting worse. I'm happy to say it has vastly improved with the cream I made & this has really helped boost her confidence! Cheesy ( sulky teenager finally coming out of her shell)

I'm hoping to sell this to the public at some stage.  I would very much appreciate any help support offered & would love to hear how you guys got started.

Welcome Safi - congratulations on sorting the teenage problem.

The EU regs re cosmetics are changing in a few days and at first glance seem really complex; stick with this group, make more posts then you'll see some more boards. An extremely helpful Safety Asessor posts here.

Hi Safi,

A warm welcome to the forum.  How wonderful that you are able to help your daughter  Smiley

As EJ said, keep posting and more boards will open up to you.  Also, have a look around the forum as many of your questions may have already been discussed  :buttrf: :buttrf:

hello and welcome from me... I had very spotty skin, even into my mid thirties... I could have probably collected enough oil from my face in a week to make a guest bar of soap. If I knew back then what I know now  Clueless

Hello & welcome Safi.  Another 'creamer' here although I'm a soaper too.  Congrats on creating a formula that works for your daughter.

Hi Saffi!

You are very welcome here. Yes, there is a tonne of info here! Better than any book I ever bought! Also the info here is correct which is one of the major issues in some books out there. Having our own soaping chemist is a bonus here for sure. You must be so proud of yourself for making a cream that helped your daughter! She also must be thrilled too.
