I want to try my hand at tea lights. I didn't realise that there were so many different options for candle wax. I was thinking of using paraffin wax ( mainly due to the low cost ). Does anyone know if this would be ok or would it be too soft?

paraffin is fine for tea lights. That's most likely what you get if you buy them in the shop
