You'll be fine Nell Smiley

I suggest you try out how you want your stand to look beforehand - so if you have a 6' table at a fair, set it out as you think you will on the day.  Make sure you take some photo's so you know what you're doing when you get there.  Look at ways to create different heights and ideas for price tags etc.

Think about what you need to make in preparation, so it's not all last minute

Then, have a think about what would be the simplest way for you to pack all your goodies to get there - can you use boxes which you'll use for display purposes too - that sort of thing

Get a decent flask for hot drinks, take a couple of cold drinks (hopefully there will be some sunshine by June), a couple of snacks which are easy to eat and not messy (don't want a dirty face when talking to your customers Wink

Most of all, enjoy it  :buttrf:

have a few different layouts in mind especially if you don't know if you are in the middle or have an end table, take plenty of lighting and always smile, good luck but i am sure you will be fine.

So exciting!  I agree with Denise and Soapwitch!  Do some trial set-ups to see what you like and what works best for you....  You can even set them up, take pictures and get opinions from everyone here.  We are ever so opinionated helpful here.....  Grin

I am very nervous so I think I will do just that. I'll also post pictures of my costume for approval admiration too.
I'll be practising victory roll hair this weekend with my 13 yr old. I don't want to let the image down with my own appearance.

Ooh, it's a vintage fair. I forgot to say.

Best o luck Nell.

Take a goodly sized cash float - it's almost guaranteed that the first two customers will each buy one bar of soap and each hand over a twenty pound note!

I had my first 3 customers in a row at Christmas handing me €50 each for €10 - €15 amount of goods each! Was ok for the 1st 2 then the 3rd I just laughed!
