Hello,

Ive been a member for a few days now and have been reading through the CP and M&P discussions and i thought it was time i introduced myself  Smiley I'm Amanda and a new soap addict  :mwaha: Ive been in the planning and researching stage for months...watching tons of videos on youtube so many in fact that i started to dream i was actually soaping...even though i hadn't actually taken the plunge at that point. So 4 weeks ago i made my very first CP soap and due to my lack of patience i jumped straight in and used colour and did a swirl with a peaky top and glitter, i was sooo pleased with the results even though it's far from perfect and i did a happy dance round my kitchen when OH cut it for me (i can't cut straight for the life of me  Sad). On Monday i made my second loaf and tried an in the pot swirl...it's ashed  Sad and was still quite sticky last night so i've left it for another day before i cut it. This afternoon i've tried my hand at a layered soap using 2 colours and i've put cling film over it and left it unwrapped to see if that stops it ashing. I'm eagerly awaiting my SK order and then i'm going to try some M&P.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

hi Amanda always good to hear about a soaping success.  you will like it here, plenty of knowledge and help.  only been soaping myself for a couple of years and still a newbie to this site.
