What I do when I'm not soaping...

WWW
« on: May 10, 2012, 12:07:30 AM »

This maybe in completely the wrong place, but I'm sure your all going to live this, I'm so excited! (need to get out more)
Ok for ages I've had the issue of where to put soap to cure in very limited space, very sure I am not alone here, but at last I think I've found something that's small portable and doesn't take up masses of space!

Gosh I hope this link works! I'm ordering 2!
Ha OH can cease his complaints, soap will be stacked all together and not scattered around!
Think I need sleep.

Only problem is that they are metal, which can lead to DOS in your soaps!  If you get those, you'll have to put something down to make it so that the soaps don't touch the metal directly.  And will they be big enough?

Well I always put them down on parchment paper, never straight on to any surface.
Anyway edited so the link works now.
After all the ones I have looked at these have the biggest gap.

ah, I can see now...they look like cookie racks?

You can get stackable mushroom trays for a couple of pennies, not so pretty, but work well

This is what I'm using.  My village's vegetable market has hundreds of them in a bin near their entrance that people are welcome to take.

Just ring them and see if they deliver locally? Then ask if you can pick up some there or do another search, used mushroom trays. There are several suppliers. Farms, markets and greengrocer have them as well.
Now if I could find wooden crates....

MP I think there is a similar company to the one in your link that does wooden ones,
I suppose if enough of us were interested in e mushroom racks we could do an order and then divie them up? Or am I being mad?
