Thanks, everyone!

The house party on Thursday was good, there was a nice bunch of ladies, and now that I understand better what the host does (she is an image consultant), there are quite a few specific events we may be able to plan together.

The fair today was the best ever - not only in terms of sales, but public too. To be honest, I went thinking that it was going to be a good one (as it's the only fair I've done this entire year, yes).

What worked really well was to offer 3 for 2 (cheapest free) on a range of cheaper/smaller products.

The other thing was that I asked everyone who came close to my stall what scent they liked (funny some replied: 'I'm just looking', and I was in such good humour that I'd reply back, 'Well, I don't carry that fragrance yet, but maybe in future, lol!'.  :mwaha:

And from that I'd ask if they bathe or shower, like to relax or get energised.  The approach was 'what will you get', and guide the client towards the products they'd love.  It worked well.

It was bloody busy the whole day but I was glad somehow I managed to really interact with customers.

Lastly, a little pic to show you my wee table...  :buttrf:

Well done!  Sounds like you've had a couple of good events, and with the first one maybe leading on to more.

Your table looks really good - you've kept it nice and clean and simple which matches your packaging really well.

Hope you're ankle is ok with all the standing you must've been doing :buttrf:

Thanks, Denice.  I was glad I managed 'something' for this table.  Not having done fairs in so long, I don't have 'appropriate gear', and my nice acrylic shelves are in the shop I sell in Carnaby st.  It was a bit of a creativeset up (wine box upside down  :mwaha:).

Foot suffered terribly as I had to stand the whole time. There was no way I could have had a chair around, but also, the place was packed the whole day as it was a 'short' fair, 12-5pm. I could barely walk in the end...
