"HELLO" lol, im andrea, i live in east sussex and love making soaps, bath bombs, bath crystals & massage and bath oils, i got into this thanks to my 2 brothers malc xx and dez, malc ran his own shop in stoke on trent called temptations of hanley, he asked me to look after the shop while he went on his holidays, unfortunatly malc xx had an accident while there and passed away, i really loved looking after his shop and would of taken over the shop but my life and family are in the south so this was difficult! so in his memory and help from my other brother dez, i learnt the ropes of homemade soap, (my brother dez is a  Natural Health & Alternative Medicine DR. put his name in the google search bar and see, Dez Sellars.) i also did a home study course in aromatherapy and now have qualifed to make my own items. i set the web site up last year and ebay this year, must say ebay has taken off very well which is great news.

i joined this forum as i bought some olive oil wax off helen to start making some homemade lip balm, ( fantastic stuff ) she told me she was doing this and i thought what a great idea, so please join helen and the rest of us on here and make this a success.  Grin

a little about me, ive been married to steve for 20 years one son david who's now 19, blimey time flies by!! i dont work apart from doing my ebay and web items as i have a bad back, i slipped 4 discs 5 years ago and have permanent nerve damage to the spine now, but hey ho there is many many people worse off than me, although some days it feels as if theres not lol.

i have recently got a puppy named smudge and he's such fun, he's a westie. if we have a chance to post pictures on here at a later date i will pop one on of him, he's soooooo cute.

well think thats all, i'm looking forward to making pals with some or all of you from this forum and swapping good tips and projects. if theres any product you want recipies for drop the forum a line and i'll do my best to find it for you.

take care

Hi Andrea,

A really warm welcome, your support is really, really appreciated.  Other members really need to see some of your beautiful soaps and please feel free to let everyone see cutsie Smudge (aw!).

What a heartfelt story but I am sure you are doing your brother proud and how wonderful to be able to pick the brains of your other brother, Dez.  I would imagine some of your creations pack a real punch, what with all the knowledge you have available to you.

I know that you have created some very interesting flavoured lip balms as well as some rather strange shaped soaps, lol  Wink.  It would be great to see a soap recipe on here (I could include one in the main content of the site if you would like and I'll credit you).  I'm sure others would like to hear about some of the strange flavoured lip balms you've been asked to make, he, he!

Thank you again for being such an active & supportive member of the forum and thanks for bringing your experience here too, it is of such enormous value.

Thanks again!!  Smiley

Oh no, no.  I meant they would be good on the soap boards not that they should go on.  Sorry, did I sound all bossy?   Shocked
