Hi everyone
Just started out making CP soaps and about to launch lip balms.  Bin a bit of a learning curve with the assessment, labelling regulations etc but slowly getting there.  Am using my dad's honey in the soap and beeswax in the lip balms.  Dad's wanting to step away from beekeeping so I'm also learning those ropes - I don't do things by half - still got a full-time day job.

Any road up, would appreciate any info along the way and will pop in every now and then for another learning session.

Currently looking into the possibilities of using aloe vera in CP soap but am struggling to find out any info - would appreciate any pointers.

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hello and welcome.

Lucky you having direct access to honey and beeswax!!

There's loads of info here (and an assessor who manages to find time to post) but it can take quite a while to work through the boards on the forum.

Hello and a warm welcome to the forum!  :buttrf:

I envy you re: the bees - my husband and I did a beekeeping course a little while ago but reckon we need to wait until we move before we get started. I'd love to be able to make my stuff with locally-produced honey & beeswax!

Hi BSB,

A warm welcome to the forum.  There's been some discussion on aloe vera around the forum so it might be worth seeing what a search brings up.  It might help  Smiley

I hope you enjoy it here  :buttrf:
