It was the last Bank Holiday just before your fair too, most people are sick of going out and just want to stay at home and do the garden and bits n pieces before the kids go back to school, I know a few stall holders who didn't even make their stall fee's, rather a sad day for most, just keep plodding a long is what I say, as long as you enjoy what your doing :buttrf:  I only took half of what I did on the Bank Holiday weekend

Awww, retro, sorry you had a rubbish fair. It really does make you wonder why you bother with it all. Fingers crossed to you that you have a good xmas. I'm hoping (and praying) that people are more spendy at xmas cos they have been cautious all the rest of the year. To be fair, we have been cautious too, so I can't blame people for wanting to keep their cash. I've seen tons of things I want to buym but unless I need it, I;ve not been buying (but I;ve stopped work so no income now for me)

Thing is iulia, we are wanting them to pay £4 and upwards for a bar of soap. A reasonable and fair price I think, but many people don't see it that way. nor would I pay £4 for every bar of soap, so our soaps are indulgences and gifts.
