Hi everybody,

My name is Jan, I'm from Stockport, I've been making soap now for about a year, in fact I think it's taken over my life ......... and my home ....... I did used to have a lovely conservatory .....no prizes for guessing what it is now!  It always smells nice though!

I use the CP method, haven't tried HP yet but have been thinking about it recently just to compare.

I've got an abundant supply of EVOO from the olive groves at our house in the Vinalopo Valley in Spain so all my soaps contain a high percentage of it  We're hoping to move there next year so soapmaking will keep me busy ..............well you can't lie about all day in the sun ... can you ?!

I must apologise for already having asked questions on here before I'd even introduced myself, you were all extremely kind and helpful though so thank you.

Anyway nice to meet you all............

A

Hello Jan, welcome aboard.

Lucky you having direct access to your own EVOO!

We're a nosey lot and want to know if you're selling your soaps (or hoping to) and whether you make other stuff.

Then people will want pics!

Loads of info around.

Hi Jan, oooh  Jealous of your own EVOO!
The move to Spain sounds pretty good too, looking out the window, gales and rain  Sad
Honey will be along shortly to demand pics of everything you do  Wink

How embarrassing - just noticed the spelling error in the title!!!!!!  I do know how to spell 'introduce' really!

When I get a few more minutes to spare I'll post some pics (I know how you like them) might even show you one of my absolute disaster yesterday!  I'm thinking I hate FOs since yesterday and am only going to use them in melt and pour and bath bombs, etc.

Have only been giving my soaps to family and friends up to now and storing up stock for when my SA for CP arrives so I can get my insurance and start selling.  (I have a sneaky feeling that it may be a famous person on here that I'm waiting for!).

Hello Jan, it is really good to have you here.  Oh how lovely to have access to your own olive oil (now that's two peeps) and even more lovely that you have an escape in Spain.  Thanks for 'intruducing' yourself and don't worry about the spelling, believe me, that's nothing compared to the hum dingers I (and others) have made - they usually become part of the every day Melting Pot jargon  Wink

Hi Jan, nice to have you onboard.
Dont worry about the spelling I can spell BUT peeps on here are very patient with me as for some reason my typing finger is dyslexic. Ive made some whoppers.

Looking forward to the pics and hearing more about your adventures in soaping and of course Spain.
