Hi ,
My name is Michelle.
I startede making scented soy wax melts and conatainer candles about 6 months ago whilst off sick with ME. Even if I couldnt push the hoover at end of day I could see 6 wax melts that looked and smelt gorgeous. I joined CSNS and that was the beginning of the BIG addiction! :mwaha: Seeing the wonderful things other people were creating I got greedy and thought mm Id like to try that .
Up shot Im in process of getting my Assessment for B&B  and have just applied an paid for certification in M&P.(Omg WHAT HAVE i DONE Cheesy)
I love doing this although Ive already discovered my preference is for Essential Oils as fragrancing.
Im too scared to try hot and cold process soap , the way my head is at times with concentration Im sure Id put to much lye in or have an explosion!! But ooh I do o love the look of it
Im looking forward to chatting to you peeps

Hello Michelle,

You can make some really gorgeous soaps with MP bases (google for SoapyChica and see what Sue G produces). I'm with you re EOs for soaps and stuff.

There's lots of information here, both on the forum and over on the main site but if you can't find what you want to know just ask.

Welcome Michelle

I have tried the HP method but I like M&P.

It's simple, quick and creative.

Hi Michelle,

A very warm welcome to the forum.  You must show us some pics of your candles (we do like a pic fix  Wink).  There is a Home fragrancing board that we have not long established and there are a number of members who either have experience at candle making or are just dipping their toesies in  Smiley

As for soapy talk, there are LOTS of discussions about these and some very experienced soapers and quite a few newbies too, so you won't be alone.  Do have a scout around the boards that you can see at the moment and the more you post, the more boards will open up to you.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it hear and I look forward to chatting with you  Smiley
