HP Soap is NOT rough and soft!

A good start Sabine (could have been in Soapmakers Discussion).

Saving the drippings was how soap was made in the pioneer and nhomesteading days in the US and Canada (most likely in the outback in Australia and similar settled areas in Africa also) - but with lye from wood-ash and rainwater then sitirring in a cauldron.

If you can get some fat from a butcher you could render it down in the oven when you're cooking something and use that.

When you have your pics please do put them in Soapy Show Offs

Yay - I have created a Facebook Page
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bubble-Works/64460101528?ref=mf

It took me a while and I have no idea how to link it to my profile and there really isn't much on it yet, but thanks to also working for an ISP I have managed to register my internet presence as well.

www.bubble-works.co.uk

Am I ready to sell yet ? Hello no - maybe never, but before anyone else gets the name.....My original name was already gone (Bubble Trouble).

You can check out my Fan Page on Facebook (I have also added Briallen as a favourite), but I have nothing behind the web-name yet.

Cheers
Sabine
