Hi all - just a wee intro really. I live right on the top of the Pennines on the Cumbria / Northumbria border in a really lovely but remote area - perfect for creating natural soaps and cosmetics which are my fledgling business. I started in a very small way in 2001 because, like you guys I believe in using chemical-free ingredients and supporting small business.

Quite evangelistic about natural products really as there are so many gorgeous ingredients out there to try which DO really work - keen to learn Aromatherapy blends as usually I stick to the basic single EO oils. Loads to learn and great to join a like-minded group.

Hi Sandie,

I'm so glad you joined us.  What a beautiful part of the country you are from.  I've lived in the city forever (well in the suburbs) and I would imagine that your beautiful surroundings are an incredible source of inspiration.  This said, I am a stone's throw from the peace of a wonderful nature reserve (Bradgate Park) & I can see it from where I live so I do get a little respite from the usual roar.

Regarding the aromatherapy, I've published a fair few resources about essential oils in general information (I may have to have a rethink on the catagories soon as the resources build).  I plan to add more to this but I will get the series about the skin structure and function completed first.

Thanks for joining us and a big warm welcome to the forum Sandie, I hope you find it useful!!!!   Cheesy
