()
Do you think you will find another job very easily? Or will you concentrate on making your creams etc. Title: Re: Clear out time Post by: bouncybabs on February 04, 2009, 04:14:50 PM Thanks
I'll still be pushing hard with my creams - with the face range coming being sent for assessment any day now (I'm just waiting on one ingredient for 2 products and then I'm ready to roll. I've been getting my CV out there today - not been well (gastro bug, and not had the inclination to do it before today anyway. My DH and dad have been a great help - I'm in IT, they are both in IT, and see lots of CV's so know how I should write it - because I had completely forgotten how to write one. I'd been in that job for a 3rd of my life - 12 years. By BFF says that I would never have left that job, they knew my medical history etc, and I was comfortable there, but frustrated that I could not proceed up the food chain as it were - as that would have been my bosses job, and I'd hit a glass ceiling (I was told in no uncertain terms) in my salary about 4 years ago. Ever since, my boss has been the one from hell. Apparently people aren't listening to his excuses - they're disgusted with him! Everyone was completely shell shocked. I got hugs from all of the guys and several came down stairs with me to see me off. It was all very moving - my boss was hiding away at the time. Ho hum...I'm just worried that potential employers will see my wheelchair and not my skills ??? It was really scary going out for interviews, I had no idea what was going on the the big bad world. I got 2 jobs in then end. My advice would be, just be yourself and they will be able to see what a good person you are. I also believe in que sera sera - what will be will be. PS I have your samples - won't be able to post them until Friday I'm afraid as I'm car-less as hubby is taking his car to garage and using my car for work. Barb Title: Re: Clear out time Post by: lynne on February 05, 2009, 09:25:12 AM No rush Barbara :)
Title: Re: Clear out time Post by: uklou on February 05, 2009, 11:12:05 AM What a sh*t. Best of luck Barbara make sure you cant go for an unfair dismissal type thing.
People are evil, i've been harrassed for the past week by a fairly well known jeweller saying i'm ripping her work off so io've had no choice but to remove what she wants and not remake, the b*tch in the end it would have been 50/50 if I would have won a case and as baby is due v.soon I figured i'd put our health soon. Karma and a baseball bat for these people! Hope you find something soon and best of luck with your range.
