Title: Clearing oucb135 eco soy container wax
Post by: Michelle on March 21, 2013, 04:19:33 PM
I have about 50lbs (22.5) kilos of ECOSOY Container wax for sale in a huge unopened box. I think I went a bit overboard when ordering last year as I have at least one other box too. I think I lost the plot slightly

I appreciate no one wants it in that qauantity so Im happy to split and weigh it up into 1kg bags. at £5 a kilo plus postage,

If someone is mad enough to want the whole box they can and it wil be £100 plus courier

Courrier will be the cheapest option.

Could it be used for wax melts?   :-\

I'd be interested in 5kg too, sorry - no money or space for more than that...

Il check for you Eva.
Parcel2 go standard using 38 x 38 x30 is £22 plus Vat at 20% so £26.40 for shipping to Sweden plus £25 for wax. Il have to take a lil wax out to keep it to 5kg so say £50 total

I think the container wax will be tricky to get out of the moulds. Better use pillar wax for that.

Eva Ive always used Container for my melts. If they are metal moulds I heat em i oven before pouring then let em really cool before giving a good whack on the kitchen top and dropping them out. Plastic ones popped out fine too. Silicone even better. Did you have problems getting yours out the moulds?

Ouch, shipping gets too high. Sorry, can't do it.

Does the Royal mail still have the 'small parcel' up to 2 kg? Would you be willing to take all the extra trouble and pack a small one like that? And how much would that be? Sorry to be such a problem maker but I really would like to test the container wax in some experiments.  ;D

Oh, I always thought they wouldn't work. No, haven't tried but that was one of the experiments I was aiming for. :)

I used a soy container wax in my wax melts. I think the ease of unmoulding will depend on the mould. I use a tea-light mould and they come out ok, especially if you rinse in soapy water first. You just push them out.

Im not quite sure I know I didnt feel too wel and was on tablets fro the GP that made me feel weird. I also know several people asked me if Id teach them how to make containe candles and melts and asked me to get supplies in. But then I got proper poorly and never did it.

I think Id better contact them all and ask if they stil want to do th lil classes cos I think I have at least 3 boxes at 50lb 22.5 Kilos somewhere.Im just praying I dont find more it must have cost me a fortune :buttrf: :allfaces: ::doh::

At least everyone here can benefit and I can clear some space.

Having said that gues what I made tonight lol
