Title: Luss Highland Gathering
Post by: corrie on July 04, 2010, 06:29:48 PM
Some pics of my stall yesterday (after I failed to take any at Loch Fyne  :-[)
Must remember to take another hook for the middle of my banner next time.
It was a day of sunshine and showers, I did ok but not as well as last year  :( Mind you there was a lady there selling bought in stuff from BL Ltd, chemically loaded, bright colours and IMHO, stinky!
I see she's going to be at my next fair too!
Bottom pic is a wee basket I found recently, they fit my boxes perfectly  ;D

Wow, wow, wow love the set-up and everything - candy for my eyes  :buttrf:
Shame about the other person selling cheapy nasties, I reckon would be flying the genuine made goody flag from my stall if they are at the next one.  Mind you your ranges just look the business.  Who is BL Ltd?

What a lovely stall Corrie, impressive and a lovely range of products. Your wooden shelves that display all your soaps is particularly impressive.

I don't know either - c'mon C, spill......

C that looks fantastic.  Those boxes really do your brnad loads of justice don't they, dead professional.  What's the coloured tubies in the basket?  Are they glosses or something?

How did the beer products go?

Thanks girls  ;D
BL are a company in Devon, Body Line. Their other brand is called Lovely Bubbly. Though they say that they use herbs, eo's etc, I can't say I noticed any on their labels. I had a good poke around and funnily enough she didn't force anything on me, perhaps she'd already checked me out  ;)

Wolfie, I'm proud to be in your inspiration folder  :-[

In the baskets I have nose balm, organic lip balms, midge oil and bath teas.

Every soapmaker should have a John  :D He made those soap stands a good while back and I still love them. Other racking has come and gone but they stay.

The beer soap sells ok at fairs (whisky sells better) but the brewery shop is doing really well with them, they sold 30 in the first month and want more and more lines too :buttrf:

Fantastic about the brewery shop - well done and lets hope that continues to go from strength to strength.  What a perfect outlet.

I remember when you said about John making those stands, he's a very gifted bloke and I wish kes would TAKE NOTE (he's not listening ya know  ::))

Nose balm!!!  What a great idea.  I could have done with some of that over the last week *sniff*.  I bet you'll do a rip roaring trade with those in the winter.

You go Mrs C  ;D

That stall does look rather good :buttrf:

Just been on your site and have spotted a few things I could use for the NP(aka naughty pony).....and myself ofcourse! :mwaha:

SD, I'm not sure what you saw on my site for the naughty pony?  :mwaha:
The nose balm is more for hayfever sufferers, has extracts of chamonile to soothe and plantain which is a natural anti histamine, available in lavender or unscented  ;)

He headshakes due to a pollen allergy so the nosebalm was top of my list, followed by your achy muscle bath tea which I could make in a bucket(NP has a stifle problem so gets sore from having to work extra hard on his stiff side).

I sometimes think, actually, no, I KNOW I pamper that pony waaayyyyyyyyyyy too much :mwaha:

Aw... pampered pony, bless  :buttrf:

C, that nose balm (with those oils) would be great for sore noses from colds and inflammation etc... so definitely good for peeps most year round  :)

BL are a company in Devon, Body Line.
I know who they are!  I would say the quality of there stuff is on the very, very low end of the market.

pampered pony indeed - can I become your pony, please ???  :buttrf:

Love the stall Corrie, really nice and inviting. I need one of your husbands as well - do you think we could all borrow him for a while?  :mwaha:

Horrible when one of those cheapos comes along, isn't it ? But then people who buy of them want different things. They wouldn't appreciate your soap anyway.

I have just had a look at your website. It has changed somewhat and looks great. I misread the bit about the ale soap though and thought it was made with blondes. Oops!

That stall looks fantastic Corrie, I particularly like the soap display. Looks amazing with the whole soap below the boxed ones.
The packaging throughout is sensational.

Upwards and onwards :buttrf:
