Hi Everyone.

As a newbie to this site, make allowances if my question has been asked before, but how do you get to know about forth coming events in your various area.  Do you contact your local council?
I have only attended local school events which are generally very small.

I know my local paper at Xmas was advertising craft stalls with tables available. SO might be worth keeping an eye out. ANd local schools always have fetes etc, so contact them?

I think some of the craft forums might be a better place to start. It's not somethin I've looked at really, but probably should now.

thanks for your reply, I started just to increase my profle as a herbalist and to get people interested in herbs and remedies.
But now with my new found hobby I can also include the things I make!!!!!

Stallfinder (and also register yourself on stallfinder!) and UK Craftforums. I booked quite a couple of them just after xmas.

Also read your local paper and ask your local business advisor / council delegate for local businesses for any planned street parties, carnivals etc

I think Stallfinder is on Twitter too.

oh, and Netmums (not mumsnet) - local pamper evenings are usually advertised there.
