Not sure if this is the right place, but. how do you make a room spray?

One site mentioned water, EO and glycerin, another made no mention of glycerin, just the water and EO.

And would FOs work just as well? I've got tons of sample FO's and a few EO's left to try out and was hoping to make something a bit different than soap (me and the candle making are not working out at the moment  :(P)

I use 5% FO to 95% Cyclopentasiloxane or Cyclomethicone. This seems to give a good fragrance which sticks around for a while! You can vary the fragrance level however you like - one lady I know uses 10% FO but I find that WAYYY too strong.

For my bottles I use Naturally Thinking.

ETA: Probably would have been better in the Home Fragrancing section but I'm sure a mod will move it if necessary :D

 but can I ask what Cyclopentasiloxane or Cyclomethicone are? I've not heard of them before.

Going to have a wee look at Naturally thinking in a moment.

I didn;t realise there was a home fragrancing section - maybe it's not opened up to me yet, or i've must missed it. Going to have another look.

Ooh, I've been moved - amd now realise that I DID know there was a home fragrancing section. Twas too early in the morning when I posted earlier  ;)

Haha, never mind!

The cyclos are all silicone liquids which are sometimes used in perfumes and body creams etc. You can get it from most B&B supplies places or SP does it too.
