Title: Ribbon - for sale
Post by: emmag on November 19, 2007, 11:27:22 AM
I have a HUGe stock of Woven edged satin faced and cut faced ribbon from my rosette business.

I really need to clear stock so if anyone is interested I can get it out.

They are by the reel of around 1000 - 2000 metres if my memory serves me right

Why didn't you post this on Friday? I went ribbon shopping on Saturday and bought everything I need for this year  :( The trouble with getting ribbon for packaging is that you always end up needing SO much more than seems proper, so it really needs to be cheap per metre to ensure you don't end up spending nearly as much on packaging as you do on the present itself.

Having proclaimed my ribbon sufficiency, I suppose I will need some next year. What colours and widths do you have, and how much do you propose to charge? And will you be selling by the reel  :o or by length?

Link to full size image. (http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j68/Aromagical/P1010242.jpg)

Photo of 'some ribbons' there are 3 TV boxes full!

The photo shows the satin woved edged (greens orange and purple) the cut edge - burgandy and tartan and the lemon in the wide cut edge.

I know I dont have red, i have greens, lemons, oranges, pinks, purples, blacks, whites, turquoise, aqua, peachy tones, burgandys, varous tartans.

The narrow ribbon is 24mm and the wide 36mm

The rolls are up to 250m long... Would prefer to sell by the roll - depending on the size of roll will depend on the price.

So if you give me colours i will rummage and let you know how much... as a guide the large rolls will be around £2.50, the satin faced a bit more at £3.00

All plus postage at cost - payment by cheque preferred and i will send out before payment is received so you can get using the  ribbon for xmas

Hope that helps

Emma

I could do a lot with a basement as well, but knowing my luck it would be as haunted as the rest of my house,

You dont really want a basement, its just an excuse to keep loads of old **** that you should have binned years ago! I know coz our impending move has made me look down there and am shocked at the rubbish we are holding on to

That sound like my loft.  I'm in a bungalow and the loft space is very (or should I say 'too') accessible, and guess what?  We are up for sale and that (she raises her eyes to the ceiling) is no exciting prospect  :-\
