Title: Not a Craft Fair Post by: EJ on October 28, 2009, 04:08:19 PM Have a Corn Dolly Workshop in a small village up in the hills tonight - the organiser said "Bring some of your lovely soaps and stuff to sell as well".
Don't now how much time there'll be for selling though. Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: satorijane on October 28, 2009, 04:31:38 PM Best of luck with it Elaine!
Your products might sell really well...they look so lovely always. But even if not, you'll be spreading the word around. Might be worth putting a few business cards/order forms out - but you probably thought of that already! :) Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: nakedtruthbeauty on October 28, 2009, 05:17:04 PM Yeah, you never know how these things will pan out. Good luck! Let us know how it goes. It's all good PR anyway.

Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: EJ on October 28, 2009, 05:25:45 PM Thanks people.
I'm not taking a stallful of stuff (wouldn'tget it set up in the time) but I'll take a box or two and business cards (don't have any order forms set up ATM). Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: corrie on October 28, 2009, 06:06:44 PM Best of luck EJ!

Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: Helen on October 28, 2009, 09:39:18 PM Gooooooooo EJ ;D
Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: EJ on October 28, 2009, 11:45:48 PM Well it took longer than was expected as there was quite a few extra bodies from those who had said they were coming - about 20 total and all except 2 had problems keeping their fingers under control - as well as the straw (so I was kept busy going round) but no-one was inclined to finish once they got going!
Still - sold a few soaps and most of them took a card. Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: sharon on October 28, 2009, 11:57:50 PM Sounds like a good turnout, you must have worked been kept busy going around such a large group. Large glass of whiskey coming your way, you've earnt it!
Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: corrie on October 28, 2009, 11:59:21 PM Blimey, hope you've some nice hand cream to hand :mwaha:
Hey, you never know, could be some nice orders from that! Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: EJ on October 29, 2009, 12:16:51 AM I told them not to order online but to send me an email re what they wanted - then they could collect from Jones' tyre place (some of them were his customers anyway) - couldn't see the point of them paying postage if they go into Ruthin regularly.
The organiser has a stall at the produce mart so she may tell them to come and buy. Title: Re: Not a Craft Fair Post by: Helen on October 29, 2009, 09:16:00 PM Brilliant EJ. Sounds like it went extremely well :)
