Title: Hi from a newbie Post by: Eire on October 05, 2009, 10:31:27 PM Hello all. Newbie here first time posting. I live in Ireland and was recently informed by another member about Fresholi. I make CP and CPHP soap, also anhydrous products. I am looking forward to joining this forum and learning and contributing when I can. I do not sell yet, but am in the process of getting all relevant info together for SA.

Eva - I'll do my best with pics. I like the more plain rustic type soap, or at least that is what folk around here seem to prefer. :D Is it natural, what's used for the colour??? That is what I get mostly, you get the few that like/appreciate more detailed work, and then those that really don't care as long as it's good soap. Honey, I'm in Kildare, where are you? I was looking at some of your mp bars, your colours are gorgeous. I've done mp but on a much smaller scale. I tend to lean towards CPHP, doing hp with tried & true recipes for about a year and a half, for some reason everything seems to be in volcano mode lately :D. Do you do markets or have an online store or something? (Yes, I'm VERY nosey :mwaha: )

I think the markets are fading fast this year. I spend most of my time on the road for wholesale accounts, lovely cold calling. Handmade candles, soap and incense. All classed as luxury goods, so a bit of hard selling involved. I don't make them myself, I act as a distributor. Means that I can work flexi hours, important as I have 4 kids. Definetly a good way for when I have SA done on my own stuff. I don't have targets to meet. The company involved does put pressure on from time to time, I just tell them to take a look at the Irish economy, if they feel they could get someone to take on a new distribution in this chaos, go ahead. Also, i think it would take some time for someone else to get my sjipping rates, I bargained long and hard for those.
