Title: Oil bottle from soap suppliers Post by: corrie on November 04, 2007, 06:30:14 PM I have used the 1 litre one (the bottle is straight and round) cut off the top and bottom to make a tube. Cover one end with cling film secured by a couple of rubber bands as close to the edge as possible. Stand on a flat plate, fill with CP soap batter, insulate and leave to set. To unmould, push the soap out using a jam jar or similar and it just slides out the other end. Cut into rounds then into semi circles if you want.

Title: Re: Oil bottle from soap suppliers Post by: madpiano on July 28, 2009, 08:11:35 PM I am afraid I have no round bottles at all. I am looking for a round mold. Might wander down to the plumbing shop tomorrow and see if I can find some downpipe in the right size.
Which oil comes in round bottles ??? Title: Re: Oil bottle from soap suppliers Post by: EJ on July 28, 2009, 08:15:43 PM Depends on which supplier you buy from - and then which bottle supplier they're currently buying from.
I've decided I prefer square bottles - they're better for packing into a limited space 'cos there's no gaps. Title: Re: Oil bottle from soap suppliers Post by: corrie on July 28, 2009, 08:33:55 PM I don't seem to get so many these days but I hate square bottles, they dribble so much!
