Up there CB!! London is not the centre of the universe you know and Cheshire/Derbyshire are north of you.

(Actually the down/up is a hangover from old railway terms - all trains out of London were going down and all those to London were going up the line - regardless of whether they were north or south)

 :mwaha: no actually sometimes i speak as i think and in my head away from where i am is downwards, not in a derogatory way just the way i speak, i picture my words and going in the other direction looks downwards. also i am having a shall shalln't i since greedy organizer contacted me asking to do an impromptu show on sunday, last one was almost a total waste and Mr F has warned he wont come, it feels like the umbilical cord is cut and at £85 asking price for a stall you can understand my calculation, i bet advance train ticket and going to sleep in Manchester  and all else considered i could still come up short of £85.

Diffiult to know what the takings could be from a fair in that area - Premium League footballers live in north Cheshire - whether Cheshire wives go to craft fairs I don't know - craft centres in that area have some very pricey goods on sale.

hence my stirring things  a bit, i think it all depends on the organizers putting in some work to promote the event, you would think  marylebone high street would be the making of you but you could spend an afternoon watching shoppers carrying bags after bags walking just feet away without realizing there is a market. Just about breaking even is not ideal when you are paying certain prices, but you cant go wrong with such pricing as  also i doubt the new money wags would appreciate craft but those with old money just might.
