Title: Hiya!!! Post by: purpledragon on May 03, 2009, 11:23:04 AM Hello everyone, my name is Ginny and I'm a soapaholic..... :mwaha:
...I started out making M&P but progressed onto HP about a year ago (haven't tried CP yet, I think I went with HP because of being very impatient and not being able to wait 4 weeks to use the soap ;) ) I am still pretty much a novice when it comes to HP but I love it!!! I have so many oils, EO's, FO's, additives here and I've been on holiday from work this week so have been playing every day (even did my first rebatch this week!) I'm 36, I live in south Wales, no kids, full time job which I would love to give up and concentrate on my sideline business (I have all my certs), not going to happen anytime soon, lol!!! Looking forwards to talking soap with you guys... Title: Re: Hiya!!! Post by: EJ on May 03, 2009, 11:32:07 AM Hello Ginny - Croeso!
There's lods of info and encouragement on this forum plus lots more recipes and info on the main site in resources (you need to register and login there to see all of them). Like you I started with MP and then started on HP, also melts and butters etc. It could be a bit quiet with it being Bank Hols weekend but somebody else will be along soon. Title: Re: Hiya!!! Post by: Helen on May 03, 2009, 12:22:50 PM Hi Ginny and a very warm welcome!!!!
You sound like you know exactly how to fill your hours Ginny. I really look forward to chatting with you more around the boards (there are more boards that you can't see at the moment but the more you post, the more will open up ;)) Welcome again and hope you enjoy it here :buttrf: Title: Re: Hiya!!! Title: Re: Hiya!!! Post by: purpledragon on May 03, 2009, 02:46:32 PM Thank you guys!
So much to read, I joined a few months ago but only just got around to posting, busy bee that I am :pot: I've just demoulded a dead sea mud soap this morning, not the colour I wanted (kinda khaki) but colours seem to be my weak area at the moment. I have just purchased the new liquid soap colours so hopefully that'll change. I'm attempting a layered CPHP Lemon Scrub bar this afternoon, will let you know how it goes... :) Title: Re: Hiya!!! Post by: EJ on May 03, 2009, 02:51:05 PM Lemon scrub sounds goodly.
JJ will be along at some point demanding pics - so have your camera (or phone) ready!! Title: Re: Hiya!!! Post by: purpledragon on May 03, 2009, 03:30:44 PM Ooh yes, I've made a habit of logging every batch with photos ;D

I particularly like the Gourmet soaps range and the scent bottle/trinket box soaps are lovely to look at. Title: Re: Hiya!!! Post by: purpledragon on May 04, 2009, 12:02:02 PM Thank you for the warm welcome!
