Title: Fragrance oils Post by: abigailbalfour on January 15, 2009, 09:18:56 PM I just bought some new fragrance oils (because I am a bad person who can not be trusted with a bank account). Now I have no room to store them all. I therefore decided to get rid of a few of them. This will not solve the problem at all, but it will make it ever so slightly better...
I would like to swap these for something, or just give them away. Unless you have something really special, though (which you may not want to swap for these), as I think that I might just be OK for soap at the moment. If someone had some kaolin going spare, that would be appreciated rather a lot! Anyway, the fragrance oils I have going spare are all SP ones. They are:
So, anyone interested? With these descriptions, how could anyone fail to be interested? :mwaha: Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: madpiano on January 16, 2009, 01:26:06 PM Hello
can I swap you for the cotton one in return for ummm soap ? I am dying to make more soap right now, but my CC is maxed out and I can't find a shop near me which sells FO on the shelf (I have cash, just nothing on the CC to order online). I can send you some finished soap in return ? Cheers Mad Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: abigailbalfour on January 16, 2009, 03:43:49 PM I'm not sure I am allowed to swap it for soap - I've had another look, and the amount I need to use is ridiculous, and I don't seem to be able to stop making it! I have new batches planned this weekend, as well. Maybe I ought to swap some soap ends for something...
Perhaps I could just send it to you without a swap? Would that be OK? If so, PM me your address. I'll probably be able to send it to you on Monday, as there are a couple of other things I need to send, too; I can have an exciting trip to the Post Office! Woo hoo! Perhaps I ought to enclose a soap free with every fragrance oil. :mwaha: Anyway, this means that the cinnamon and nutmeg and the clean cotton FOs are gone - the vanilla, vanilla dreams and honeycomb fragrances remain... Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: Michelle on January 30, 2009, 12:56:10 AM What sort of things are you intereste in swapping? ie What do you think you would like?
Id be interested in Vanilla Dreams but Id like to be sure you had a swap that would give me as much pleasure as yrs if u kinda get what I mean. (Its late and Im not very good at expresing myself sometimes) Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: abigailbalfour on January 30, 2009, 01:04:01 AM The swap that would please me the most is if you would let me send all three of them your way. I am about to move house (another month to go) and will get into trouble if I don't get rid of a lot of stuff very soon! (I think that I have until Saturday evening before he starts to complain, though!)
Would that work for you? It's a weird swap, I suppose, but it would work for me! If that's OK, send me a PM with your address. I can probably get them sent off in the next few days. Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: Ɛyɔn :-) on January 30, 2009, 01:43:59 AM ha ha ha, Abi you must be the only person i know who swaps by giving more. ;)
Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: abigailbalfour on January 30, 2009, 02:10:18 AM Well, I want them to go to a good home! And I also want them out of my house! The more I give away, the better for me.
Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: Michelle on January 30, 2009, 01:05:33 PM Abi, Thats very generous of you. :)
I think Iv worked out how to do a pm but not sure how to recieve so if I dont reply its cos I cant find it. Once you have moved in Im sure I can find something you wuld like in exchange, Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: JANE on January 30, 2009, 05:00:04 PM Abi...I am intrigued......just how many FO's did you buy if you no longer have room to store them all. I have visions of you up to your neck in the stuff, lol.
Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: abigailbalfour on January 30, 2009, 06:23:04 PM I only have a small box for my FOs. I love all of the other ones enough not to get rid of them (I reckon that I will use them all), but these ones leave me a bit lukewarm. I must get rid of my honey powder, too - smells weird in soap (smells good, but reminds me of the Honey Croap Incident - I do NOT want to be reminded of that).
I actually have a cupboard full of oils/additives/fragrances, with one free drawer currently devoted to wool for felting. Really, this will make no difference at all, but if they will be used rather than making me feel guilty that can only be a good thing. I probably have about 15 different FOs left, in varying quantities, and I shall not be buying any more for a long time. I hope. (Please, God, give me the self-control not to buy any more!) :mwaha: Title: Re: Fragrance oils Post by: Ɛyɔn :-) on January 31, 2009, 04:43:59 AM ah thanks to Abi's generosity, my candle making adventure is very slowly turning into an add-action.
