Title: For Kids Over the Holidays
Post by: EJ on December 12, 2008, 10:28:02 PM
Mking snowglobes was mentioned elswhere - with instructions (http://www.things-to-make-and-do.co.uk/other-stuff/snowglobe/snowglobe.html) for using empty jars.

Handy for the few days before Christmas or when the novelty of prezzies begins to pall.

Make sure you have some Araldite or similar (that bit will need supervising).

They could make Fimo models to use.

Might be a project for moi over the hols. We are going away the weekend after Christmas in the MSDU so that Mr S can go 'off-roading', I might need to stay in the van and keep warm an eye on things.  :mwaha:

That's if you have any eyes left Joy, what with all that off-roading  :mwaha:

It is nice to sit down with the kids and do things like this.  Especially when they are not too taxing so that they can maintain motivation and be able to have to freedom to do things within their capabilities  :)
